Outreach Program December 7, 2019

The Fraternal Order of Eagles (Philippine Eagles) organized a “Munting Pamaskong Handog,” a community service and Medical Mission (Outreach) for the Indigenous Families of Brgy. Pundaquit, San Antonio, Zambales. The said outreach program was held last December 7, 2019, Saturday, from 9:00 am up to 1:00 pm at Punta de Uian Resort. Two hundred sixty eight (268) individuals, adults and children residents of Purok 7 and Sitio Nagsasa benefited from the said outreach program.

The early Christmas gift giving was organized nby the Manila north Golden Eagles Club (MNGEC), Manila North LADY Eagles Club, Manila South Aduana Eagles Club, Manila Central 147 Eagles Club, Quezon City Sandigan Eagles Club, Golden Sapatilha Eagles Club, Manila Clark Eagles Club, Manila Matikas Eagles Club, and Bulacan SIDM Eagles Club in cooperation with the Municipal Tourism Office, and Punta de Uian Resort.

The program started at 9:30 am with the different club presidents welcoming the people who attended the outreach program. The Honorable Mayor Preciliano M. Ruiz attended the event and thank the Fraternal Order of Eagles for their help given to the IPs of Pundaquit. the MTO’s Asst. tourism Officer Ma. Fe DS. Acebedo was very grateful to their group for fulfilling thier promise to her last July, 2019 when they first visited Pundaquit, Arnold e. Landayan, the Charter President and incoming Governor, made the promise and spearheaded the event. PB Vener Lwarin also extended his thanks to the group, stating that “the help given cannot be considered small; instead, a huge gift to the people of Pundaquit.”

The Indigenous People who attended the pamaskong handog were able to received groceries, medicines, vitamins, clothes, gifts, and free lunch. Games were conducted which made the IP kids very happy. The kids also shared their talents both in singing and dancing during the program.

Also present during the outreach program were. Mr. Demosthenes De Jesus, head of MDRRMO and his staff, PNP, BFP, SAHARA Volunteers, Brgy. Pundaquit Council members and the Municipal Toursim Staff who worked hand in hand with the Philippine eagles for the success of the outreach program.
