Green Banner Seal of Excellence

Congratulations to the Local Government of San Antonio headed by Mayor Edzel L. Lonzanida, MD, for achieving the GREEN BANNER SEAL OF COMPLIANCE award. Only the towns of Candelaria, Botolan, Castillejos, and our town, San Antonio, have been honored with this special recognition in the province of Zambales.

The GBSC is awarded by the National Nutrition Council (NNC) to local government units (LGUs) with programs and policies that demonstrate a significant impact on the community’s local nutrition situation. An LGU is granted the Seal by achieving a general compliance rate of not less than 85 percent in specific nutrition parameters.
