Administration of anti-biotic to sick animals Conducted

To address the prevention and control of parasitism among ruminants, the Municipal Agriculture Office of San Antonio in coordination with the Barangay Council of West Dirita conducted a whole day massive deworming of cattle, carabao and goat including Vitamin administration last January 9, 2018.              

As part of the animal health services under the livestock program, disease prevention and control measures are very essential in attaining healthy animals.

The said activity was successful serving 16 individual farmers, total dewormed animals were 56 cattle, 23 carabao and 99 goats. Veterinary medicines like dewormers and vitamins came from LGU-San Antonio since it was included in the annual budget to be able to help farmers attain good animal husbandry.
